Who We Are
Plumbers Who Like to Explain the Why
Women-owned, locally owned and a little nerdy about pipes: that's Geek Plumbing Services in a nutshell.
Who We Are
We're a women-owned plumbing company based in Asheville, NC, and the plumbing side of Geek Construction Team. We're licensed and insured, we pick up 24/7, and we take care of everything from a dripping faucet to a brand-new water heater for homes and businesses across Western North Carolina. Along the way, we explain what we're seeing. If you want the step-by-step version, read about our approach.
Our Story
Geek Construction Team builds and remodels homes around Asheville. In June 2024 it opened a plumbing arm of its own: Geek Plumbing Services, a DBA of Geek Construction Team LLC. Same company behind it, with a team that spends its days on supply lines, drains, shut-off valves and water heaters.
So why "geek"? Because we're the kind of plumbers who want to know why a toilet keeps running, not just how to make it stop. That curiosity turned into a habit. We talk through what we find, we ask questions, and we're happy to answer yours. The "wait, why does it do that?" questions are our favorite kind.
A Women-Owned Plumbing Company in Asheville
Geek Plumbing Services is owned and run by women, and it's locally owned right here in Asheville. You'll notice it in the details: clear communication, respect for your space, and a plumber who doesn't talk down to you or rush you through a decision. We're licensed and insured as well (NC Plumbing License #37812), so you're covered from the first visit on.
What You Can Count On
- A straight explanation of the problem and the fix before any work begins.
- Choices that respect your budget, from the parts we pick to the order we tackle things in.
- Quick replies, and a job that keeps moving instead of dragging on.
- Brands we trust: Rheem water heaters, plus CSI and Watersoft for water filtration and softeners. Prefer something else? Just ask.
- A limited lifetime workmanship warranty on our labor and installation.
- Someone on the other end of the line 24/7. Call or text (828) 344-5244, day or night.
Who We Work For
Most of our work happens in homes, for homeowners and for the property managers and realtors who look after them. The rest is commercial: business owners and contractors who need a reliable plumber who shows up and communicates. Want to stay ahead of surprises at home? Ask about our maintenance plans. Silver, Gold and Platinum all include regular inspections and priority scheduling, with no contract term.
Backed by Geek Construction Team
Being the plumbing side of Geek Construction Team means bigger projects don't stall once they go beyond the pipes. On a kitchen or bathroom remodel, we handle the plumbing (rough-in, moving supply and drain lines, setting the new fixtures) and Geek Construction Team takes care of the rest of the project.
Serving Asheville and the Mountains Around It
We're based in Asheville and work all over the surrounding area, from West Asheville and Candler out to Canton, Marshall and Fairview. You'll find every town we cover, plus a map, on our service area page.
